We aim to represent Canada in National and International Championships, World cup and maybe even Olympics in the future, which will bring recognition to Canada in terms of participation and events hosting in the international level. Around 30+ countries play Bicycle polo currently. CBPA shall proliferate the sport of Bicycle polo using the Long Term Athlete Development Model formulated by the Canadian Sport for Life Society. Ultimately our program will be the first of its kind in Canada. For the upcoming generations, who are addicted to mobile phones and Internet these days, the sport of Bicycle polo will be a bonus for all age groups to have a bright and healthy lifestyle. From the traditional polo of R.J Mecredy to the modern day bicycle polo, one thing that never changed is the love for the sport among its peers. We at CBPA strongly believe in the pursuit of excellence, integrity, respect and community. Promoting Canada as a bike-friendly place that attracts cyclists from elsewhere will be a great economic driver.
Our mission is “To grow and support the sport of bicycle polo across Canada by fostering inclusive communities, providing accessible playing opportunities, and promoting a spirit of teamwork, respect, and fun, developing skilled athletes, supporting local clubs, and creating opportunities for competition, collaboration,& continuous improvement.” CBPA will highlight the new, modern, international and competitive face of Bicycle polo throughout the world from grassroots level and to make quality training & services available to every player & fan.
